Harry Frieda
Harry Frieda ( Harry Gaylord Frieda; born September 11, 1901 in Chalmers , Indiana , † August 20, 1983 in Park Ridge , Illinois ) was an American decathlete and javelin thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he was eighth in the decathlon with 6618,300 points.
Starting for the University of Chicago , he was NCAA javelin champion in 1923 .
