Harry Hermann Salomon
Harry Hermann Salomon (* 1860 in London - Shoreditch ; † 1936 in Edmonton near London) was a British portrait painter from the Düsseldorf School and photographer .
Life

Salomon studied from 1879 to 1881 and 1889 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . Most recently he attended Adolf Schill's class for decoration and ornamentation . Besides Schill, the painters Hugo Crola and Heinrich Lauenstein were his teachers. From 1882 to 1883 he had a studio at 151 Fulham Road , London-Chelsea . Many of his portraits were created from photographs .
