Harry Jeffra
Harry Jeffra (* the 30th November 1914 in Baltimore , USA ; † September 1988 ) was an American boxer in the featherweight .
professional
He went undefeated in his first 26 fights. On May 20, 1940, he defeated Joey Archibald by unanimous decision over 15 rounds and was thereby world champion of the former association NYSAC . He defended this title against Spider Armstrong and lost it in May 1941 in a rematch against Archibald by a split judge's decision.
