Harry Reijnders

Harry Reijnders (* 1954 ) is a Dutch architect who was best known in the 1980s and 1990s for the buildings he designed for the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS).

Life

Reijnders has been working for the Nederlandse Spoorwegen at the NS engineering office (today's Movares ) since 1983 . Like Peter Kilsdonk and Rob Steenhuis , he was also responsible for a new generation of train stations in the 1980s. A lot of glass and steel was used in these station buildings. During this time he built the Amsterdam Sloterdijk station (1986).

Then in 1993 and 1996 he built the Rotterdam Blaak and Leiden CS stations . From January 1, 1997, Reijnders was the Nazi master builder (head of the construction department). He was Cees Douma's successor . In April 1998, he left the company due to a difference of opinion.
