Hartl is the most south-westerly district of the city of Fürstenfeld in East Styria . Until 2015, Hartl was still part of Übersbach , which, however, was also incorporated into the municipality of Fürstenfeld through the Styrian Municipal Structural Reform Act .

There is a railway line through Hartl ( Thermenbahn ), but Hartl does not have a stop on the route. The next stop is the Übersbach stop in the Fürstenfeld district of Übersbach .
With the 463 bus ( Gleisdorf / Walkersdorf - Fürstenfeld), Hartl is connected to local public transport via two ÖBB-Postbus AG bus stops .
