Hartmut Ihne

Hartmut Ihne (born October 16, 1956 in Bielstein ) is a German political scientist and philosopher . Since 2008 he has been President of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences .

Life

He studied philosophy , political science , German and electrical engineering at the Universities of Bern , Bonn , Neuchâtel , Oxford and Siegen . From 1996 to 2004 Hartmut Ihne was managing director of the Center for Development Research (ZEF) and the Center for European Integration Research (ZEI) at the University of Bonn. The focus of teaching and research is on development policy, global policy and ethical issues.
