Hartmut Jaeger

Hartmut Jaeger (* 1958 ) is a German teacher , editor , managing director of the Christian publishing company in Dillenburg , speaker and author .

Life

Jaeger has been associated with the Brethren Movement since a young age and from 1974 worked in the youth group work in a socially disadvantaged area in Wuppertal . Books like The Normal Christian Life by Watchman Nee shaped him. He completed a degree in natural sciences for teaching . This was followed by a traineeship at a primary school in Dortmund. In 1986 he started at the Christian Publishing Company in Dillenburg, a work of the Free Brothers , to develop Christian teaching material there. Since 2000 he has been its managing director and since 2001 director of the 31 Christian bookstores , which he forbidden in 2006 to sell the Volxbibel that he criticized . As editor in chief he is responsible for the magazine Das Wort für heute .

He is the honorary managing director of the German Evangelist Conference and a member of its trust council. He is involved in the supra-local working group of the Free Brethren in Germany and in the management team of their Dillenburg conference . He can be heard as a speaker on ERF Plus , Bible Broadcasting Network and DWG Radio. Since 1979 he has been a speaker and evangelist for the Barmer tent mission for questions of faith in Germany, editor and author of several books.

Hartmut Jaeger has been married since 1981 and has three daughters. He is a member of the Free Brethren Congregation in Haiger-Steinbach .
