History and infrastructure

The place itself was already inhabited in 1765. The only cultural monument on site is the Harzofen House of Friends of Nature . Initiated by the Ludwigshafen Friends of Nature Movement, which was founded in 1910, it was completed in 1921 and subsequently expanded to its existing form.
