The Haselbacher Teiche nature reserve is located in the Altenburger Land district in Thuringia . It extends east of the core town Haselbach . The Pleiße flows on the eastern edge of the area , the state border with Saxony runs to the north and the B 93 runs to the east .

The 125 ha area with the NSG no. 398 was placed under nature conservation in 2012.
