The Haskard Highlands are a mountain range of peaks and ridges in the East Antarctic Coatsland . They are located between the Blaiklock Glacier and the Stratton Glacier in the Shackleton Range . The highest point is Mount Weston at 1210 m . Corresponding formations between Mount Provender and the Pointer Nunatak also belong to them.
They were mapped in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 after Cosmo Haskard (1916–2017), governor of the Falkland Islands from 1964 to 1970 .
