Hate Forest was a Ukrainian NSBM band from Kharkiv founded in 1995 .

history

Roman Sajenko, founder of the band and also singer with Drudkh and his ambient project Dark Ages, combined raw black metal with calm ambient music in Hate Forest .

In 2006 the band broke up. Sajenko's new band Blood of Kingu , formed in 2005, is also seen as the successor to Hate Forest.

ideology

The band is assigned to the NSBM . Although the band did not publish their lyrics, for example, in the programmatic title Aryosophia ( Ariosophy ) fragment "Aryan consciousness is lost" (Engl., Aryan consciousness is lost ') to hear. Furthermore, the band uses symbols such as the Algizrune , Triskele and Celtic cross , which are often used in right-wing extremist circles, as a design element for their albums . According to their own statements, Hate Forest play "true aryan black metal" .

According to her label Supernal Music , Hate Forest's ideology is based on “Aryan-Slavic” mythology, the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and elitism .
