Hate Soldiers was a right-wing rock band from Sangerhausen .

Band history

The band was formed in 2005. After a demo CD limited to 128 copies , the band signed on to the right-wing rock label Barbarossa Records . The first and last release was a split CD with the Lower Saxony band Race'n'Nation. The CD was indexed on February 26, 2008 by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People for glorifying National Socialism . The band's singer is Marcel Marx, brother of JN base manager Enrico Marx , the label owner of Barbarossa Records. The band performed at the NPD summer festival 2007 in Sangerhausen and was supported by Dennis Stöber from Kampfzone . After the band played unauthorized songs, the police stepped in and organizer Matthias Heyder , then NPD country manager, declared the event over.

Christian K., the group's drummer, was involved in an arson attack on asylum seekers' accommodation in Sangerhausen on January 6, 2007 and was sentenced to five years and four months in prison. The band broke up in 2008. The follow-up project of the remaining band members is called Wolfsgarde.

ideology

The band glorified the German soldiers between 1918 and 1945, i.e. the Freikorps and Wehrmacht , and quoted in a song a poem by Renatte Schütte that the Holocaust denier Thies Christophersen had used for his booklet Die Auschwitz Lie .
