Hatiora salicornioides is a species of plant in the genus Hatiora from the cactus family(Cactaceae). The specific epithet salicornioides comes from the Greek word -oides for 'resemble' and the name of the genus Salicornia .

Hatiora salicornioides grows richly branched with upright to overhanging or drooping shoots that lignify with age. It reaches heights of up to 1 meter. The deep green shoot segments are 1.5 to 5 centimeters long and have a diameter of about 7 millimeters. They are club-shaped, often have a distinct stem-like base, are sometimes inverted bottle-shaped and are arranged in whorls of 2 to 6. The very small areoles are covered with short, fine bristles.
The golden yellow to orange flowers are 1 to 2 centimeters long and have the same diameter. The top-shaped, white fruits are translucent.
Distribution, systematics and endangerment
Hatiora salicornioides is distributed in the Brazilian states of Bahia , Minas Gerais , Espírito Santo , Rio de Janeiro , São Paulo and Paraná at altitudes of 200 to 1750 meters. It was first described as Rhipsalis salicornoides in 1819 by Adrian Hardy Haworth . Nathaniel Lord Britton and Joseph Nelson Rose placed them in the genus Hatiora in 1915 .
Hatiora salicornioides is very variable.
In the Red List of Threatened Species of the IUCN , the species is listed as " Least Concern (LC) ". H. listed as not endangered.
