Haun ( Gaelic : Na Hann ) is a scattered settlement on the Scottish Hebridean island of Eriskay . The coastal settlement is located in the northwest of the island and is part of the largest settlement agglomeration on the sparsely populated island. There is a post office in Haun and the church of St Michael's of the Sea is close to Haun. To the northwest of Haun, the Eriskay Causeway , a road embankment over the Eriskay Sound , reaches Eriskay from the neighboring island of South Uist .
Shrimp and lobster fishermen as well as textile processing businesses are based in Haun.
