House Emmer, 2006

The Emmer House ( Romanian Casa Emmer or Palatul Emmer ) is a listed three-story building in the immediate vicinity of the Piața Unirii in the western Romanian city ​​of Timișoara . The address is Strada Mercy No. 7 .

history

The building was built in 1908 according to plans by the city's chief architect , László Székely , in an eclectic style with elements from the Baroque and Art Nouveau periods ( Vienna Secession ).

description

The three-part facade consists of a central part and two side elements. The side parts are higher and each have three elongated windows on the upper floor, while the lower middle part has four windows per floor and a statue is attached to the upper floor.
