The Havetofter lake ( Danish : Havetoft Sø or Havetofte Sø ) is an approximately 12-hectare lake in the southern part of the municipality Havetoft in the landscape fishing in northern Schleswig-Holstein ( Southern Schleswig ). The lake is a fish-rich, lime-rich, unhistory lowland lake. There are several (unguarded) swimming areas on the lake. In 1834 a water mill was built on the lake. The lake drains over the Mühlebach into the Bollingstedter Au (also: Stenderuper Au ). By deepening the Mühlenbach during the construction of the water mill, parts of the lake were drained. The bank is partly reeded . On the eastern bank there is a hillside forest area at heights that rise 15–20 m from the surface of the lake with rising embankments . The lake is embedded in a transition area between the Angeliter Hügelland and the Geest (→ Luusangeln ) in a mostly flat landscape, in some cases with more relief. In 1874 the lake was incorporated into the Havetoft community. Since 1959, 15 hectares of the lake have been under landscape protection.
