Haworthia arachnoidea grows stemless and solitary or sprouting. The 25 to 80 inwardly curved, triangular to ovate-lanceolate leaves form a dense rosette with a diameter of 6 to 12 centimeters. The light to dark green, keeled leaf blade is 2 to 7 inches long and 1 to 2 inches wide. The tips often dry up gray-white to brownish and form a protective cover. The tip of the leaf is awned to a point.

The inflorescence reaches a length of up to 30 centimeters and consists of 20 to 30 white flowers .
