The Hayden Peak is a mountain top on the Walgreen Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands . It is the southernmost of the Gerrish Peaks on the Bear Peninsula .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Dennis J. Hayden, radio operator of the three delegations of the Navy squadron VX-6 on McMurdo Sound until the 1975-1976 campaign.
