The Hayeswater Gill is a small river that emerges on the north flank of Thornthwaite Crag in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The river flows north and is the only tributary of Hayeswater Lake. It is also the only outflow from this lake that it leaves in a northerly direction and flows into the Pasture Beck east of Hartsop .
