Hayley Lovitt

Hayley Lovitt (born December 26, 1986 in Oklahoma ) is an American actress . She has appeared as Sage since 2017 in the FOX Network television series The Gifted, which is produced by Marvel Television among others .

Life

During Lovitt's middle school days, her family moved to North Carolina because her father found a new job there. After completing eighth grade, she attended Freedom High School in Morganton until 2005 , where she received theater lessons, among other things. She then completed a degree in communications at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington , which she graduated in 2009. She then worked briefly in a law firm, but decided to pursue an acting career and moved from Wilmington to Charlotte . At the time, Lovitt was making an appearance on the One Tree Hill series (2012) and other minor roles. She also started working behind the camera, as a production assistant and later in the costume department. In 2014 she moved to Atlanta and played the role of Donna in the film Picnic with Bears (2015), which was partly shot there . In the same year she played Janet Van Dyne ("The Wasp") in the comic book adaptation Ant-Man . She was also seen in the sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp , if only as a young Janet Van Dyne. Since 2017 she has been part of the cast of The Gifted , a series in the X-Men universe. There she plays the recurring role of the legend, a mutant with photographic memory and computer-like perception.
