Hayley Dora Spelman (born June 11, 1991 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

Spelman got into ballet and tennis before she got into volleyball. She began her career at Durango High School in Las Vegas. She won the 2008 NORCECA Championship in Saltillo with the US Juniors . In 2009 she took part in the World Cup in Mexico with the youngsters . From 2009 to 2012 she studied at Stanford University . In the 2013/14 season, the diagonal attacker first played for Telekom Baku . From February 2014 to the end of the season she was still active for the Italian first division club Volley 2002 Forlì . She then moved to league rivals Urbino Volley . In the 2015/16 season she played for the South Korean club KGC Daejeon . Then she went to the Philippine association F2 Logistics Cargo Movers . At the beginning of 2017 she switched to the Indonesian club Gresik Petrokimia . From 2017 to 2019 she played for the French first division club ASPTT Mulhouse . In the 2019/20 season she reached first place in the South Korean league with Hyundai Hillstate . In 2020 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club SSC Palmberg Schwerin .

In beach volleyball Spelman in 2017 played with Kristen Petrasic and Nicole Bateham and 2018 Lacey Fuller some tournaments the AVP tour.
