Heat wave
Heatwave was a very successful international funk band in the 1970s .
One of the most famous pieces by Heatwave is Boogie Nights , which appeared on the 1977 album Too Hot to Handle . Its composer, Rod Temperton later composed for numerous other artists such as Michael Jackson ( Off the Wall (1979) and Thriller (1982)). Members of the group were the Americans Johnnie Wilder , Keith Wilder (1952-2017), the English Rod Temperton (1949-2016), the Swiss Mario Mantese , the Czechoslovak Ernest Berger , the Jamaican Eric Johns and the British Roy Carter .
