Heckeshorn is a locality in Berlin-Wannsee . Heckeshorn forms a bulge on the Wannsee Island and is located on the Großer Wannsee opposite the Wannsee lido . The Heckeshorn settlement is accessed through the streets Am Großen Wannsee and Zum Heckeshorn , on which the 114 bus runs.

At the end of the 1930s, the Reich Air Defense School was built behind the settlement . Until 2007, the Heckeshorn Lung Clinic was located here , which is now only used by a DRK blood bank. The Heckeshorn bunker is looked after by the Berliner Unterwelten association.

Heckeshorn also includes the part of the Alsen colony with the Liebermann Villa and the house of the Wannsee Conference . A copy of the Idstedt lion stands by the water near the house, on a viewing platform on Tiefhornweg .

On the beach of Heckeshorn is a volunteer staffed water rescue station of the DLRG Berlin.
