Hede Lütjen born Fritsch (born June 12, 1938 in Bremen , † December 29, 1983 in Bremen) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Family, education and work

Lütjen was the daughter of an electrician and granddaughter of Burchard Fritsch (USPD, SPD), Bremen's member of parliament from 1919 to 1933. She had a brother Berthold Fritsch. She attended elementary school and high school. Then she did a commercial apprenticeship and worked in this profession, later as an accountant.

Lütjen was married to Martin Lütjen (1933–2007); both had three children.

politics

Union and party: In 1956, Lütjen became a member of the Trade, Banks and Insurance Union (HBV). In 1959 she joined the SPD and was active in the SPD local association habenhausen and in the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). From 1971 she worked in the SPD Working Group of Social Democratic Women (ASF) and was first elected to the board in 1972 as an assessor. In 1976 she was elected to the board of the SPD Bremen . She was chair of the SPD state commission on social security .

Citizenship: From 1971 to 1983, from the 8th to the beginning of the 11th electoral term, she was a member of the Bremen citizenship . Therefore, from 1979 she was broadcasting adviser for Radio Bremen (RB). In 1972 she became chairwoman of the Deputation for Food and Agriculture. She was therefore on the board of directors of the consumer organization and in 1979 became chairman of the board. She received criticism from the HBV union for advocating more flexible shop closing times. In 1980 she became a member of the Budget, Land and Citizenship Committee. In 1980 she advocated that counseling and the possibility of an abortion should be retained, with the words: "Nobody has the right to raise a moral forefinger if a woman decides not to have a baby."

Senate: In 1982, the ARSP demanded that the SPD should propose at least one female senator when the next senate was formed. On November 10, 1983, Lütjen was appointed to the Senate of Hans Koschnick ( Senate Koschnick V ) as Bremen's Senator for the Environment . However, she became very ill and died. That is why she was Environment Senator from November 10th to December 29th 1983 without taking office; the former Senator for the Environment Herbert Brückner represented them at this time. Eva-Maria Lemke followed her in this position from January 1984.
