Hedwig Dorosz

Hedwig Maria Dorosz also Jadwiga Maria Dorosz (born May 9, 1905 in Tarnopol , Austria-Hungary ; † May 31, 1946 in Baden ) was a Swiss university teacher and writer .

Life

Hedwig Dorosz obtained the teaching license at the Wettingen seminar . For some time she taught at various community schools in the canton of Aargau and at the Krotoszyn community school . Hedwig Dorosz then began studying at the University of Zurich . Here she met Gottlob Friedrich Lipps , with whom she worked closely and who became engaged in the fall of 1930, shortly before his death. In 1931 Hedwig Dorosz obtained a doctorate from the Philosophical Faculty I. From 1934 she worked as a private lecturer in aesthetics and psychology at the University of Geneva. In 1939 she returned to Baden, where she served as substitutes at secondary and district schools in Aargau and mainly devoted herself to her poetic work. Hedwig Dorosz died in 1947 at the age of 41 of pneumonia. Your estate is in the Aargau State Archives .
