Heide Dörrhöfer-Tucholski (born April 4, 1944 in Alzey ), actually Heidemarie , is a German journalist and administrative officer .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1963, Heide Dörrhöfer-Tucholski did a traineeship at the German Press Agency in Düsseldorf , where she had been an editor since 1965. From 1970 to 1977 she worked as an editor for the North Rhine-Westphalian state editorial office of Spiegel .

Dörrhöfer-Tucholski has been doing press and public relations work in the Ministry of Science of North Rhine-Westphalia since 1977 . Together with Minister Johannes Rau , after his election as Prime Minister in September 1978, she moved to the State Chancellery , where she worked as a consultant in the office. In October 1980 she became deputy government spokeswoman for the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia. Dörrhöfer-Tucholski served as State Secretary to the Minister for Federal Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia from December 1985 until her temporary retirement in June 2000 . From July 1990 until 2000 she was also the state's representative at the federal government . In 2002 she was a member of the board of directors of DeutschlandRadio .

In 2012 she was a member of the executive board of the Heinz Kühn Foundation . The foundation is administered by the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Heide Dörrhöfer-Tucholski was awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon in 1989.
