Heide Simon (politician)

Heide Simon (born November 6, 1955 in Ingolstadt ) is a Hamburg politician on the Green Alternatives List (GAL) and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Heide Simon completed a second degree in social and economic sciences in Berlin. This was followed by work abroad in the field of international development aid . In Germany she worked for the DGB districts of Berlin - Brandenburg and Baden-Württemberg , among others . She later worked as a freelance speaker .

From 1995 to 1997 she was the spokesperson for the GAL district executive in Hamburg-Nord . For her party she was a member of the Hamburg citizenship in the 16th electoral term from 1997 to 2001. For her parliamentary group she was spokeswoman for labor market policy and sat on the equal opportunities committee and the social committee.
