Heidelinde Prüger

Heidelinde Prüger also: Heidi Prüger (born September 17, 1973 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer and poet.

Heidelinde Prüger attended the modern language grammar school in Neunkirchen and studied German , English and Scottish studies from 1992 to 1998 at the University of Klagenfurt and the University of Edinburgh . She completed a subsequent doctoral degree in Klagenfurt and Salzburg in 2001.

Prüger writes poetry and translated Scottish poetry. She works with the jazz musician Karl Heinz Bless . Prüger and jazz musician Bless process literary texts, original compositions, classics and jazz standards into a poetic sound carpet that "weighs a lot and flies far".

Prüger is a member of the Lower Austrian PEN Club .

Prüger teaches at the Semmering Tourism Schools in 2012/2013 .
