The Heidemann Valley is a 3 km long and 800 m wide valley on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Vestfold Mountains , it leads northeast of Heidemann Bay to the southeast corner of Dingle Lake .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1983 based on the name of the bay of the same name. It is named after Frank Heidemann, second mate of the research vessel Kista Dan , which was deployed in this area in 1957.
