In 1975 Heidi Becker became East German champion in diving.

Heidi Becker , after marriage to Ramlow (born November 21, 1954 in Rostock , † February 13, 1987 in Rostock) was a German diver who became European champion in jumping for the GDR in 1970.

In 1970 Heidi Becker won both the GDR championship and the European championship in jumping from the three-meter board. In 1972 she was runner-up in the GDR behind Marina Janicke . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she reached the final and finished eighth there. In 1973 she repeated the second place behind Marina Janicke in the GDR championship. In 1974 Becker won her second GDR championship in jumping and was runner-up behind Karin Guthke from the tower. In 1975 and 1976 she jumped from the three-meter board behind Christa Köhler to second place in the GDR championship , but won the high diving in both years, where she competed as Heidi Ramlow in 1976. At the 1976 Olympic Games , she took fourth place in jumping and eighth in the tower.

Heidi Becker started for SC Empor Rostock and trained at Max Kinast.
