Heidi Pataki (born November 2, 1940 in Vienna ; † April 25, 2006 ) was an Austrian poet and essayist .

Life

Pataki studied journalism and art history in Vienna and worked from 1970 to 1980 as an editor for the monthly magazine Neues Forvm . From 1981 to 1983 she was editor of "FilmSchrift". In 1973 Pataki was one of the founding initiators of the Graz Authors' Assembly , and from 1991 she was its president.
