Heights was an English post-hardcore band from Welwyn Garden City .

history

Heights released their first studio album on June 21, 2011. Dead Ends was very well received by critics and received the best possible rating from Kerrang as its first album in 2011 with 5 points. Following the release of their debut album, Heights toured the UK with Architects , Deaf Havana and Tek One, among others .

After another tour of England with Biohazard , Heights released two songs in March 2012 with the names These Streets and Gold Coast , which they offered for free download on their website.

After a European tour with Born from Pain , Heights announced on May 6th, 2012 the separation from their singer Thomas Debaere. The exact reasons for the separation were not given. Since then, Debaere has dedicated himself to his new project Life & Limb . About a week later, Heights announced that their current bassist, Alex Monty Debaere, would take over as vocalist. The bassist will be temporarily taken over by friends.

On June 4, 2012, Heights began recording their second studio album without specifying any details about the planned release. On February 12, 2013 Eleven Eyes, the first single for the new album, was officially released on YouTube , which was released on April 29, 2013 under the name Old Lies for Young Lives under Transcend Records .

In 2014, the group disbanded via notification on its own website.
