The Heilenbecker Höhle is a large cave in Ennepetal in the Ennepe-Ruhr district .
history
The Heilenbeck Cave was discovered in 1983 by the Klutert Cave Working Group and measured until 1985. Due to the rather late discovery, the cave could be protected from the very widespread theft of stalactites and other sinter formations as well as pollution through modern nature conservation law and securing the entrance .
