The house at Heiliggeiststrasse 6 in the Altstadt-Lehel district of the Bavarian capital Munich was built in 1897. The building erected as a tenement house is a protected architectural monument .

description

The corner building in the style of the German Renaissance was built by Ludwig Marckert , the construction management was carried out by Heilmann & Littmann . The decorative facade to the Viktualienmarkt has a volute gable crowned by five turrets . This gable side is enriched by a balcony loggia with columns. Two-storey bay windows on the side fronts adorn the steeply towering structure. The magnificent portal , framed by an aedicule , has a door leaf with spirally latticed openings.

The house, which was rebuilt after war damage in 1950/51, has been used as a hotel since 1978 .
