Ludwig Marckert
Ludwig Marckert (born November 18, 1850 in Regensburg ; † September 24, 1904 in Munich ) was a German architect .
Life
Ludwig Marckert studied at the Technical University of Munich architecture . In 1872 he became a member of the Corps Germania Munich . After graduating, he worked as an architect in Munich. He mainly built apartment buildings in the neo-renaissance and neo-baroque styles . He planned his largest building, the Catholic parish church of St. Anton, in the neo-Romanesque style . Marckert was a royal Bavarian lieutenant in the reserve .
