Heinrich Bachmann (writer)

Heinrich Bachmann (pseudonym Fritz Immenhaus; born on June 26, 1900 in Hanau ; died on March 25, 1946 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German Catholic writer, playwright and author of life studies.

From 1924 to 1937, Bachmann was the cultural editor of Germania , and later worked for other Catholic newspapers and magazines, especially the youth magazine Die Wacht , for which he wrote articles under the pseudonym Fritz Immenhaus . He also worked as a writer for dramatic works and plays within the Catholic youth movement; In 1932 he renewed Bidermann's baroque mystery play Cenodoxus .
