Albin Ouschan senior (born April 17, 1960 in Klagenfurt ; † September 16, 2018 there ) was an Austrian pool player . He is the father of the pool world champions Jasmin Ouschan and Albin Ouschan junior .

Career

At the European Youth Championship in 1985 in St. Johann im Pongau , Albin Ouschan won the bronze medal in the 14/1 endlessly . In the same year he became Austrian men's champion for the first time in 9-ball . In 1987 he won the title in the 14/1 endless and 8-ball disciplines . A year later he managed to defend his title in 8-ball. At the European Championships in 1989 he won the bronze medal in the 8-ball singles. In addition, he was with the Austrian national team after a final defeat against Germany vice European champion. At the Austrian championship in 2009 , he took third place in the senior age group in the disciplines 9-ball and 14/1 endless.

With the PBC Eintracht Klagenfurt , Ouschan was three times Austrian team champion (1984, 1986 and 1988). In Klagenfurt am Wörthersee he ran the Ouschan billiards salon , the Eintracht venue.
