Heinrich Brückner (doctor)

Heinrich Brückner (born October 28, 1928 in Berthelsdorf near Neustadt in Saxony , Germany) is a German pediatrician and author.

Heinrich Brückner grew up in Leipzig. After serving in the war as a flak helper, he went to the Herderschule in Leipzig for two more years after 1945. He then worked as a nurse for a year and then studied medicine at the University of Leipzig from 1948 to 1954 . From 1954 to 1956 he completed a compulsory assistantship and major year in the Schkeuditz Hospital. He then worked in the St. Georg District Hospital in Leipzig from 1956 to 1958 . From 1958 he worked at the Leipzig University Hospital. Heinrich Brückner went to Frankfurt (Oder) with his wife and children in 1968 , where he ran the children's clinic until he retired in 1993.

In 1976 he published the book "Do you think of love already?" Brückner had been involved in educational activities in schools since the 1950s. In doing so, he used a role-play method taught by Gerhard Rockel. His publications on pregnancy, child development and sexuality have been translated into various European languages.
