Heinrich Dreidoppel

Heinrich Dreidoppel (born February 23, 1938 in Aachen ) is a German art teacher , draftsman and painter.

Life

Heinrich Dreidoppel spent his childhood in Walsrode and Liebenau on the Weser . In 1948 he returned to his hometown Aachen, attended the Couvengymnasium in Aachen and graduated from high school in 1958. From 1958 to 1962 he studied drawing, painting, graphics and art education at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Otto Coester and Robert Pudlich . After studying German at the University of Cologne (1962–1965), he taught from 1967 to 1989 at the Schillergymnasium in Cologne and at the Willy Brandt Comprehensive School, Cologne-Höhenhaus.

In the 1970s and 1980s , Dreidoppel took part in the German specialist discussion of positions on art education with publications . In 1986 he began daily, small-format painting on daily newspapers (1986–1988), which he continued periodically from 1991 to 1999.

From April 1989 to March 2003 he held a chair for drawing and painting at the Berlin University of the Arts .

Dreidoppel has been working as a draftsman, writer and editor since 2003.

Dreidoppel was married to Monika Wildt († 1999) since 1967. Their son is Kaspar Dreidoppel.
