Heinrich Frey (District Administrator)
Heinrich Frey (* 1939 ) is a German local politician ( CSU ).
Career
From 1975 to 1986, Frey was head of the municipal financial equalization department in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance . In 1987 he moved to Bayerische Landesbank as head of the municipal customers division and at the same time took on the role of spokesman for the management of Bayerngrund GmbH.
In 1978 he was elected to the district council of the Starnberg district for the first time . From 1990 to 1996 he was chairman of the parliamentary group there. On March 24, 1996 he was elected to the district administrator of the Starnberg district in the runoff election. He remained in office until the end of April 2008.
His son Stefan Frey has also been the district administrator in the Starnberg district since May 2020.
