Heinrich Gentner

Heinrich Gentner (born September 25, 1818 in Freising , † August 23, 1861 in Wolfratshausen ) was a German homeland researcher , school inspector and Catholic priest .

He worked, among other things, as curate canonical provisional in Laufen and city pastor in Wolfratshausen.

His most important work is the processing of the history of the Weihenstephan Benedictine monastery .

In memory of his work, a street in the Freising district of Vötting was named after Gentner , as was a street in Laufen.
