Heinrich Geppert
Heinrich Geppert (born February 27, 1953 in Wattenscheid ) is a German major general a. D. the Air Force . He was director of the Social Science Institute of the Bundeswehr .
Life
Geppert joined the Bundeswehr in 1972 . From 1984 to 1986 he completed the general staff course at the command academy of the Bundeswehr (FüAkBw) in Hamburg and was used in various ways a. a. in the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg) in Bonn. In 1997/98 he was head of the Social Science Institute of the German Armed Forces (SOWI) in Strausberg, and later from 2005 to 2007 he was the commander of the Air Force Training Command (LwAusbKdo) in Cologne. Geppert was last from 2009 to 2013 with the rank of major general commander in the military area command (WBK) III in Erfurt. He is married and has three children.
