The Air Force Training Command (LwAusbKdo) was a command authority of the Air Force subordinate to the Air Force Office and based in Cologne-Wahn .

history

The command was reorganized in October 2001 and led the subordinate schools and training associations of the Air Force.

As part of the realignment of the Bundeswehr , the Air Force Training Command was dissolved on June 30, 2013, and the subordinate units were placed under the KdoUstgVbdeLw on July 1, 2013 .

In addition to the troop service management at division level , the Air Force Training Command was responsible as a specialist command for general military and military-specific individual training in the Air Force and for the Air Force. (This task was performed by the Personnel, Training and Reservist Affairs Department in the Air Force Office until the Air Force Training Command was reorganized.)

In this capacity, the Air Force Training Command was also subordinate to training parts of the Air Force in other branches of the armed forces, for example at the infantry school or the air landing and air transport school of the army.
