Heinrich II. Von Stammer
Heinrich II von Stammer († March 24, 1481 in Zeitz ) was bishop of Naumburg from 1466 to 1481 .
Heinrich II. Von Stammer came from the knightly noble von Stammer family , who first appeared in the area around Ballenstedt under the Princes of Anhalt from the 13th century . He studied in Leipzig and was canon in Halberstadt and Magdeburg. As bishop he increased the fortune of the diocese. Was profitable u. a. the silver mining on the Schneeberg. He died on the evening of March 24th. Parts of his bronze grave plate are now placed in Naumburg Cathedral . The family coat of arms is a right-angled wave bar .
