Heinrich Köhler (writer)

Heinrich Köhler (also: Heinrich Koehler ; * January 7, 1852 in Potsdam ; † October 6, 1920 there ) was a German writer .

Life

Heinrich Köhler was the son of a master tailor . He received his school education in his hometown of Potsdam , but from 1872 onwards, a serious illness affected his way of life. He imagined - especially in literature - self-taught on and began in 1874 to publish literary works. He was married since 1886; the marriage resulted in a son. His extensive work, which can mainly be assigned to entertainment literature, includes novels and short stories .
