Heinrich Kiel (* 1961 in Hanover ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Labor Court .

From 1980 Kiel studied law at the University of Hanover , where he passed his first state examination in 1986. In 2009, Kiel was elected judge at the Federal Labor Court and initially assigned to the Seventh Senate, of which he became Deputy Chairman in May 2014. In April 2011 he was appointed honorary professor at the University of Hanover. Since November 2018, Kiel has been chairman of the Ninth Senate, which is mainly responsible for vacation law, partial retirement, part-time employment, employee status, the right to testify and competitor lawsuits.
