The Hanover Labor Court is one of 15 labor courts in Lower Saxony and has its seat in the Specialized Court Center in Leonhardtstrasse in Hanover . It is responsible for labor disputes in the Hanover region .

With 13 chambers, the Hanover Labor Court is the largest in Lower Saxony. Every year, between 6,000 and 9,000 complaints are filed with the court.

Instance move

The Lower Saxony Regional Labor Court, which is also based in Hanover, is superordinate to the Hanover Labor Court. The next instance is the Federal Labor Court in Erfurt .

Hanover Labor Court in Ellernstrasse

Until mid-2015, the labor court was located on Ellernstrasse in the Zoo district . Since then it has been located in the Specialized Court Center in Hanover-Mitte .
