Matthias Kofler

Matthias Kofler (born March 4, 1981 in Feldkirch , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Kofler attended the music high school in Feldkirch from 1995 to 2000 . He received classical singing training at the Feldkirch State Conservatory . After graduating from high school, Kofler moved to Vienna , where he completed an acting training at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna from 2001 , among others with Elfriede Ott and Tim Kramer. Kofler studied theater , film and media studies at the University of Vienna and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2014 .

Kofler took part in various theater, opera and musical productions. At the beginning of his theater career in 2003 he played the beginner role of Piccolo in the operetta Giuditta at the Mörbisch Seefestspiele . In 2004 he embodied, under the direction of Birgit Doll and Alexander Waechter, Rosenkrantz in Hamlet at the Shakespeare Festival at the Rosenburg in Lower Austria .

From January 2008 he played the stuttering patient Billy in the play One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman at the Theater zum Angst in der Scala Wien . In March 2008 he played Anthony in the musical Sweeney Todd in Mistelbach alongside André Bauer . At the summer children's theater in Perchtoldsdorf , he took on the role of the narrator in the children's play The Riddle of the Golden Voices by Alan Ayckbourn as part of the fairy tale summer in Lower Austria in the Perchtoldsdorf cultural center . In August 2008, Kofler also played in the theater production Erzgang: A game in the mountains by Ursula Reisenberger based on motifs from the novella Erzgang by ETA Hoffmann in the Leogang mine in Pinzgau as part of the theater project “ortszeit” . Kofler was also a member of the ensemble of the theater project "Theater im Wohnen".

From the beginning of October to mid-December 2013, and again in September 2014, he played the Viennese student Rudi in Stefan Vögel's comedy Achtung Deutsch! In the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn . . With attention, German! In April / May 2015 he also appeared at the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof in Munich . In September 2015 he made a guest appearance with Achtung Deutsch! at the Comedy in Frankfurt am Main . Further performances followed at the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof in March 2017. In the 2017/18 season, Kofler appeared again at the Komödie im Bayerischer Hof; this time he took on the role of interior designer Milan Pütz in the tabloid comedy Der Slipper-Panther .

Kofler also starred in television productions . In 2004 he was seen as Lukas in the ORF / ZDF production "Der Ferienarzt ... in der Wachau". In 2009 he was an up-and-coming young marketing specialist Max Melzer in the television film "Johanna - Köchin aus passion", the son of Anja Kruse . From October 2010 to August 2011 he played the role of Bastian Heisig in the main cast of the Sat.1 soap " Hand on Heart ".

Kofler also worked as a radio play speaker . He lives in Cologne .
