Heinrich Knipper

Heinrich Knipper (born November 22, 1919 in Osterwick , † April 5, 1991 in Rosendahl ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed an apprenticeship in clogs and passed his master craftsman examination in 1940 . After serving in the war from 1940 to 1945, he initially worked on his parents' farm and as a master shoemaker. After a long time as a driver, he took over a petrol station with tire trade and later a VW authorized workshop from 1963.

Knipper was a co-founder of the CDU local branch in Osterwick. He was married.

He was a member of the district council of the Coesfeld district from 1961 to 1987.

Public offices

From May 26, 1975 to July 8, 1987 he was District Administrator of the Coesfeld district.

Knipper was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

On December 17, 1987, Knipper was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
