Heinrich Lindenberg

Heinrich Lindenberg (born October 2, 1902 in Berlin ; † November 17, 1982 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from the Bismarck School in Hanover in 1923 , Lindenberg studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Georg August University in Göttingen . During his studies he became a member of the Rhenania Munich fraternity in 1923 . After both state examinations , he received his doctorate in law and was a judge in Hanover and Burgdorf in 1931/32 . In November 1932 he established himself as a lawyer in Hanover. From 1934 to 1945 he was a member of the board of the lignite gasoline company in Berlin and from 1945 of the Wintershall union . In May 1955 he was appointed notary in the OLG district of Celle .

Lindenberg had been a member of the CDU since 1950. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1961 and from September 29, 1967, when he replaced the late former Federal Transport Minister Hans-Christoph Seebohm , until 1969. He represented the Harz constituency in parliament. From February 27, 1958 to November 29, 1961, he was also a member of the European Parliament .
